How will you assess the specific needs of my business?

We design specific programmes tailored to your needs and objectives, and this involves a detailed process of information gathering. We complete focus groups and observations with potential learners, management and key people to understand the context and the desired outcomes.

We review existing training content and current programmes to prevent duplication or overlap.

Our aim is to understand the detail of your business performance and any future changes to your business. We present key findings to decision-makers using hard data and our observations.

Because our approach is to work with you, we design training content and run pilot sessions with plenty of opportunity for feedback from your key people before we roll out a programme fully.

Will we have a main point of contact to work with?

At the start of each new partnership, we assign an Account Manager and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support you in creating a strategic plan that integrates with the programme vision.

The Account Manager oversees the development of the programme and provides the bridge between your key people, the delivery team and your learners.

With the move to online and working from home, can you still deliver training that works across a large team?

We've worked with a number of clients during the COVID-19 pandemic to deliver remote training, including to large teams.

We've adapted our programmes to make them work online, adjusting the style of presentation for screen and keeping delivery engaging.

We also anticipate the gradual return to work post-pandemic, so can offer hybrid training that takes advantage of the convenience of digital channels, but also the enduring effectiveness of in-person design and delivery.

In line with government guidelines, we will be able to offer various modes of delivery for our programmes.

What's the ongoing relationship between Penguin Learning and your clients?

We constantly review your training programme throughout its duration so that we can quickly identify and improve new areas.

We are passionate about finding new ways to simplify complex issues for your end-users. This includes changing our training content or the format of sessions to improve your learners’ experience.

We also regularly review your programme with your key people to ensure that our content is aligned with your business changes, both existing and upcoming.

What do you mean when you say that you create unique programmes for your clients?

While some training providers use the same programmes for each of their clients, we believe it is better to understand your context and then build a programme from scratch.

We like to operate as an extension of your team, learning your internal processes, terminology and systems so that we are fully immersed in your company culture.

With this knowledge, we are able to create a programme that draws on the right training tools for your context.

This is then more sustainable for the future, as the programme is more likely to work with your business's current and upcoming needs.

What do you mean when you say that you create unique programmes for your clients?

As your business develops and the landscape of learning and development changes (as seen with COVID-19), we will continue to review and adapt your programme.

This includes our approach to account management, training materials and programme delivery.
